Most will associate a Stove as a traditional fire appliance used to burn wood, coal or smokeless fuel, and typically found in homes in rural areas where mains gas may not be present. In recent times the market has changed significantly, and has seen a rise in popularity for stoves in urban areas, this is largely due to an increased awareness surrounding the clean burn and efficiency of modern Wood Burning stoves.

As the world climate becomes an ever increasing topic of conservation, our government like many others has endorsed and encouraged the growth of sustainable carbon neutral heating sources, typically Wood Burning stoves fall into this category, and wholly represent a fantastic way to heat the home without adding to worlds carbon footprint.
From the year 2022 all Wood Burning stoves will need to meet a new ‘Eco Design ready’ standard, stoves will need to meet rigorous emission testing before being allowed on to the domestic market. Here at Fireplace Factory we can confidently assure you that all of stoves are ahead of their time, and all have passed the required testing ahead of the deadline, and as such are already ‘Eco Design ready’.
